John 14:26 (esv) “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.”

My crane is entitled SUNDOWN, in honor of my dad, Stanley Bigg.  I took some photos of the gorgeous sun tinted prairie sky when we visited Nebraska in March.  I wanted to capture some of the sky at sunset in my crane. I combined two of Nebraska’s finest, corn and Kool-Aid to add to my mixed medium crane.  The base is lined in tea bags, an ode to my dad and a reminder for me to look at the potential in the unusual.

I have been a part of Cranes on Parade since the beginning and am thrilled to have my crane as part of the event.  My proceeds from Sundown will go to the Alzheimer’s Association Nebraska chapter (alz.org).
