CRANE TITLE:  “Daybreak Dancer”

Created by welding metal to simulate the flow of crane-like movement. Imagine this bird prancing near the river for livelihood.

As a young girl Sally was always interested in art and design. Raised on the family farm in Central Nebraska, Sallly’s roots have never strayed very far. With close family and community ties, she has remained firmly planted in thoughts of creating art from the elements that seemed to always surround her.

Returning recently to the family farm, Sally has now committed herself  to sculpting and creating on a full-time basis.

“My sculptures are intended to bring a smile to your face. I take metal, which is thought to be cold, hard, and unattractive, and give it life, expression and personality.”  Sally Jurgensmier

Each piece is unique and never mass produced. Each piece can be displayed indoors or out.

Sally attended High School at Minden High, Minden, NE.  Sally is a 1993 graduate of Hastings College, Hastings, NE, with her BA – Art.
