Mikaela RichmondMikaela Richmond is an art teacher for Park Elementary and Emerson Elementary schools for Kearney Public schools.  Mikaela grew up in Columbus, Ne but her husband is originally from Kearney. Both Mikaela and her future husband attended the University of Nebraska, but have lived in Kearney since 2000.

Inspired by Wasilly Kandinsky (1866-1944).  Kandinsky was an influential Russian painter and art theorist. He is credited with painting one of the first purely abstract works.
